Brad Gover

President

A graduate of Vancouver Film School (VFS), Brad Gover has been producing documentary and dramatic films for festivals and television. His first two documentaries have garnered national awards and theatrical screenings. "The Care Package," his first fictional film, played to sold out audiences at prominent film festivals around the world. As it’s producer, he recently completed "Snarbuckled," a short film that premiered at the 30th Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax.

Dana Warren

Vice-President

At twenty-two Dana launched a career in film and television, twenty two years later her life in the circus continues as director, producer and life coach. She’s worked on hundreds of film and television projects, has a bright and feisty career in advertising and spends most of her time with clients mapping lives that deliver their agenda

Lynn Andrews

Treasurer

Lynn works in the areas of Unit Production Management, Coordination, Location Scouting and Management, for film and television. She was Production Manager on several feature films and as a Unit Manager and Location Manager. Her credits include Random Passage (John N. Smith), Viva la Rose (Bruce Alcock) and the TV series Republic of Doyle.

Mark Hoffe

Social Media Director

Mark Hoffe wrote and directed Spiritual (2001) – his first short film – with assistance from The Newfoundland Independent Filmmakers Co-operative’s (NIFCO) First Time Filmmaker Program. Since then he wrote and directed Snarbuckled (2010) – his second short film – which premiered at the 30th Atlantic Film Festival. Mark holds numerous television credits as writer for seasons two and three of the children’s show Mickey’s Farm, researcher for Soccer Shrines, and head writer for season one of The Pet Network’s docudrama series Pet ER.

Tim Conway

Secretary, Chair of Programming

Tim owns and operates Capitol Video, located at Rawlins Cross in St. John’s. For more than fifteen years, he has regularly provided film reviews for a number of publications. At present, his weekly film column appears in Current.

Paul Dean

Director

Paul Dean is the retired CEO of the Johnson GeoCentre. A geologist, he worked for many years with the Department of Mines and Energy as Assistant Deputy Minister and was the Deputy Minister of the Department of Environment with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Paul is a noted traditional singer and storyteller whose original stories have been published by The Newfoundland Quarterly.

Elsa Morena

Elsa Morena divides her time between plotting world domination and working in the entertainment industry. She has written, directed, and produced short films and music videos in St. John’s and Vancouver. During the day, Elsa writes for a Preschool TV series. By night, she’s an evil genius. Fact.
